Its cultivation is fairly simple and inexpensive. A sandy loam soil rich in organic matter is suitable for Lilium cultivation. Lilium is a perennial lily of the Liliaceae family, considered the original lily. This flower is cultivated in mild climates. However, this flower cannot tolerate high temperatures. Many farmers make sheds with nets to cope with temperature variations in different seasons. Then the yield is good. The flowers are suitable for harvesting within 100 to 120 days after sowing the tubers or bulbs.
The happy news is that the cultivation of this flower has started on a short-scale commercial basis in some regions of Bangladesh.
